Salary: Grade 6 – Scale point 24 – 29

Term-time Appointment. 32.5 hours per week hours 8.30 a.m. – 3.45 pm including 45 minute lunch) Term time only
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Office/Finance Manager to join our school.
Supporting the Headteacher, you will contribute to Alumwell Nursery School with regards to Business and Financial management ensuring we comply fully with requirements and compliancy with Government requirements and regulations.
You will ensure the effective and efficient running of the School’s allocated budgets by implementing core financial functions including payment of service agreements, invoices and credit control. Reviewing contracts to ensure value for money and managing the Inventory and Asset registers and ensure all items for disposal are recorded.
The successful applicant will have previous administration experience along with at least a Grade C GCSE in Maths and English and NVQ level 3 (or equivalent). CSBM qualification is desirable, but not essential. Excellent IT knowledge, particularly in Microsoft Office is essential. Knowledge of and working with SIMS and Oracle will be an advantage.
